If you don’t have your final diploma yet, a statement of graduation from your educational institution is also accepted.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Finnish / Swedish.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
The translations need to be signed and stamped by an authorized translator.
You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
Certificate of English language test is not required for this program, but you must demonstrate your language skills in the entrance exam.
Your English language proficiency must be at a sufficient level: IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 46.
Eligible applicants are sent an invitation to an online exam within two weeks of submitting an application and presenting the required documents that show eligibility.
The written part of the examination consists of two sections: an essay and a multiple-choice section testing mathematical/logical skills. There is no pre-reading material for the examination.
Applicants who pass the written part of the online exam will be invited to an online interview.
Through Edunation, Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences offers a multicultural program in International Business. The program allows international students to go on an exchange and finish a double degree in another country. Starting in autumn 2018, a new Digital Business track is offered in cooperation with the School of Technology.
The degree teaches you about some of the most common areas in business, such as R&D, entrepreneurship, human resources, project management, cross-cultural marketing, finance and foreign trade. All content in the degree is designed to be more international and flexible, taking into consideration the change’s in today’s business world. That is why the program also includes courses about digital business and e-commerce.
In the first year, students will work in a virtual enterprise with students from different nationalities. After the first year, students will know how to establish a business, how to generate profit, make up a loss and fill out legal documents.
The seconda year focuses on international business operations and management. Degree students will be joined by exchange students and lecturers from partner universities around the world.

- Industrial Management
- Doing business in different target areas
- Project work in multidisciplinary student groups
The third year is used for an exchange semester abroad in one of SeAMK’s partner universities and practical training. Students may also apply for a double degree.
During the last semester students will write their bachelor’s thesis.
After graduating from SeAMK’s International Business program, you are ready for a wide range of international positions. Jobs are found, for example, in the fields of export and import operations, marketing, sales, customer relations, product and project management.
